Weather and technology permitting, our programmes on 648Khz will commence originating from the Ross Revenge at 7.00AM on Friday 22nd December.

The changed schedule for the day will be:
7am Johnny Lewis
9am Top Fifteen
10am Ray Clark – with the official launch at midday.
2pm Kevin Turner
5pm Resume normal programmes
No doubt Bob Lawrence, Martin Fisher and Jerry Wright will personalise their evening shows to mark the day.

Of course we are delighted to have found and secured what must be the best possible AM transmission site for our service. We thank Cobra Mist Ltd for this facility whilst noting that this is a private site which cannot at this time be visited.

FRS-Holland on air on November 18th

Following our 38th Anniversary broadcasts on August 26th & September 2nd, FRS will take to the air with a full regular broadcast on Sunday November 18th.
Programmes will commence at 08:52 UTC/ 09:52 CET and will last four hours. Close down will be at 13:00 UTC/ 14:00 CET after which the complete programmes will see a full repeat until just after 17:00 UTC/ 18:00 CET.
Attention: in the morning/ early afternoon programmes will be aired at 7700//9300 kHz. During the second run starting just after 13:00 UTC/ 14:00 CET, the 31 mb frequency could be changed into 93xx kHz (will be announced later, also listen to FRS Magazine/ FRS goes DX for updated info).

Vuodenvaihteen tienoilla oli edellinen Asfalttitelegraafin lähetysjakso, silloin taajuudella 1476kHz. Harmittavasti silloin oli aloittanut samalla taajuudella brittiasema Carillon Wellbeing Radio, joten nyt kokeilee uutta taajuutta. Toimii ilmeisesti määräaikaisilla luvilla.

Asfalttitelegraafi lähettää taas 1494 kHz

The only LPAM station in Sweden "The Asphalt Telegraph" is back on the air.
Now we have a license again, now at Europe's best mediumwave frequency, 1494 kHz, with no stations at all on the air in EU when Radio Moldova is off air between 20.00 UTC- 03.55 UTC when they open again.
Some DX also on 1494 kHz:
Iran, Taybad 10 Kw
China, 14 Relay stations up to 10 Kw
Philippines, Quezon City, 10 Kw
Two 14-day licenses are issued by The Swedish Press and Broadcasting Authority and The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) from:
25th of November - 8th of December 2018 and
23rd of December 2018 to 5th of January 2020.
This is the most noise-free frequency in all of Europe, so there is a chance that our 300 watts can reach the state side! We have noted signals from our station on a web-sdr receiver in eastern Iceland: http://r.utvarp.com/ with really good signal strength around 01 UTC so there is a chance to log the Asphalt Telegraph on the state side!!!

NRK's LW transmitter 153 kHz in Ingøy will shut down for good tomorrow Sunday December 1st at 22.59.59 utc after having been on air in 18 years.
NRK is interested in as many reports as possible of this last transmission and therefore they will issue a special "Last Day Transmission" QSL card.

Uusi 1kW laillinen asema aloittanut testilähetykset, Belgialainen, mutta lähetin ilmeisesti Hollannissa. Taajuus on 6060kHz, vaikka heidän sivullaan mainitaan myös 6030kHz. WRTH mainitsee myös ennakkotiedoissaan taajuuden 6030, mutta lienee sitten muuttunut.
